4 Best Canon Cameras For PhotographyPosted in Camera, Reviews By Sinbad Konick On March 31, 2013 inShare01Last week we traveled together what for me were 5 of the best Nikon digital SLR cameras that are on the market now. Today we continue with this cycle and this time our guest of honor is Canon, a brand of photography more than respectable and is seen as direct competition from Nikon.

As much as I look for a camera with x features and functions, much as we like a brand or another, however much we want to be professionals or beginners, before we get to find what will be the best digital SLR camera for us should we ask the question: How much are we willing to pay?

Each jump from one category to another generally accompanied higher jump in price and in features. A professional Canon camera will be more expensive and come with advanced features that any professional photographer looking but can be a nuisance and confuse the novice photographer who probably do not need and will never use, so why pay more?

This time I’ll just four cameras to me are the best offerings from Canon and covering all needs and cater to all budgets. Here we go.

Canon EOS 500D : The recommended camera of choice for anyone looking to take their first steps into the world of SLR photography. It offers 15 megapixels are more than enough options, HD video (HD 1080p). ISO value is not as high (ISO 100-3200) but if you read my article on the myths and falsehoods of the camera manufacturers you will know why you should not worry about the ISO. The camera on the other hand comes equipped with a generous 3-inch LCD screen with 920,000 dots. If you are interested in shooting pictures in burst mode will have up to 3.4 fps (frames per second), which is not bad for a camera in this range.

On the other hand, the Canon 550D is a camera that boasts ISO up to 6400 (expandable to 12,800)

Canon EOS 60D: Here we started to get into a terrain reserved for professionals. The Canon EOS 60D is the typical camera you can use in any situation: it has a burst shooting speed of 5.3 fps (frames per second). It has a 3-inch folding screen that can be deployed in virtually every way, capable of recording Full HD video, high ISO, etc.

Canon EOS 7D: Quite similar to the previous Canon 60D in its 18 megapixels and full HD video, but with loads of additional features like the 19 focus points. Another of its impressive are the 8 fps (frames per second) that the camera is able to capture in burst mode. It also has a viewer that lets you see the whole scene without losing even one millimeter. Yes, the price is not very encouraging to try but it’
