Last year, the group acquired 51% stake in African hair care firm Darling Group Holdings. The company has completed the first and second phase of the buy and will start third phase quickly.
Earlier, Godrej Consumer Products has made acquisitions of personal care brands Rapidol and Kinky in South Africa and Tura, a medicated personal care brand in West Africa.
Recently, Godrej Consumer Products Limited was planning to acquire an insecticide company based in Israel and the deal is in the post due diligence phase.
